What type of hair do you use?

 All Hair extensions are performed with the highest grade products available.  The hair is all full cuticle Remy hair with the cuticle intact and flowing in the same direction. I use Bellami Professional, JZ Styles, and KOVI. I mainly use Genius Wefts, They are thin and flexible like hand-tied hair, they do not have an itchy mustache or return hair for maximum comfort and flat seams. I also use machine tied, hand-tied, and flex wefts. Every head is different and requires a custom plan.

How Long Does it Last?  

Clients need to have them tightened and moved-up every 4-6 weeks. The hair itself lasts between 6-12 months, depending on how well you take care of it.

Can I Use the Same Shampoo and Styling Products that I use now?

I recommend using extension specific hair care products to ensure that the integrity of every strand is protected. With the right products, you’ll be able to extend the life of your extensions and protect your natural hair as well. I have personally tested MULTIPLE product lines and I carry only the best. I also have different lines for different personal tastes and budgets.

Can I style my hair however I want?

With the right care and attention, you’ll be able to style your hair as preferred.  Just be careful to not tug or pull on the beads or wefts when putting your hair in updo styles or ponytails. Unpopular opinion: No, not every client will be able to wear a ponytail/bun with extensions. Even with the best hidden bead method, and the best placement, this fully depends on the density of the hairline. NO METHOD is 100% invisible on 100% of clients. also half-up styles are not always possible with these extensions

Can I swim with these extensions?

Chlorine, Algaecides, Salt Water and mineral deposits are the mortal enemy of even the highest quality human hair extensions. If you do plan to swim or go in the ocean, wet your hair with tap water beforehand and apply a GENEROUS amount of leave-in conditioner, then put in a braid or neat bun. Wash as soon as possible after the pool/ocean exposure and apply a deep conditioner. If you have hard water at home, a shower head water filter is an ABSOLUTE MUST. Even city water in our area has high concentrations of minerals that are harmless to us otherwise but wreak havoc on your hair extensions.

CONSULTATION

Apply  to see if you are a good candidate for  Hand Tied or Beaded Weft Extensions. Consultations are always done in person.   During your consultation, the length, volume desired and custom color match will be discussed.  I will determine if  you are a good fit for beaded weft Hair Extensions, and give you a price quote. Once you decide to move forward, you will pay a non-refundable deposit. The non-refundable deposit reserves your installation appointment and your hair for scheduled installation. If you are looking for a color change, that MUST be achieved prior to ordering hair and scheduling the extension installation. I cannot color match new extensions until we have achieved the desired color outcome on your natural hair. Please have an idea of what you would like for your color before submitting your request form and coming in for your consultation!

FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Most first time clients can expect a one-time initial investment of $630 to $1,800+ for us to work together. This investment covers your hair, hair placement, cut/blending, signature beach wave style, and take home product recommendations.

RETURNING CLIENTS: For returning Extension Clients, you can expect the following: 

Re-tighten the hair extensions every 4-6 weeks. 

For some foundations an express move-up is not possible, rather a full removal and re-installation will be performed every 6-8 weeks. This will typically be determined at your consultation, however, we may change course after your first couple express adjustments.

Improper aftercare or waiting more than 6 weeks between appts can result in damage to your natural hair. In some cases, we will simply have to remove and reinstall the extensions more than usual. Consistent issues will result in extension probation, and possible termination of our professional relationship.

Replace the hair every 6-12 months with brand new hair.

A shampoo and style can be added to any extension maintenance appt for an additional $75.

Please note that as with natural hair, extensions hair color does fade, and will have to be maintained as needed. This is usually done with your regular color appts, however if you do not regularly have your own hair colored or highlighted etc. we will have to make sure to keep up with the color maintenance on the extensions.
